The mill rate for the 2006 Grand List is 25.78
The first tax installment on the 2006 grand list is due during the month of July 2007 (no later than August 1, 2007). Any payments received after 8/1/2007 will be charged a 3% penalty, with an additional 1 1/2% each month the account remains delinquent. The second tax installment on the 2006 grand list, along with the motor vehicle supplemental bills, are due during the month of January 2008 (no later than February 1, 2008). Any payments received after 2/1/2008 will be charged a 3% penalty, with an additional 1 1/2% each month the account remains delinquent.
In case our public hours do not meet your needs, we have installed a payment drop box on the front of the Town Office Building. This drop box is checked daily.
Our office is always willing to work with taxpayers concerning their account and payment schedules.
The collection rate on the 2005 current levy for fiscal year 06/07 was 99.37%.
