The Fire Marshal is responsible for Fire Safety inspections, issuing Blasting Permits, inspecting under ground fuel tank removal, determining the cause and origin of fires, explosions, hazardous material issues and reviewing new building plans except residential houses. The Fire Marshal is also the Open Burning Official and is responsible to issue Open Burning Permits. Please check the link under Burning Official for detail on obtaining an Open Burning permit.
